Pride of lions quenching their thirst

The Styx pride has been seen a few times over the last few weeks. Members of this pride were encountered with a couple of different young males which are slightly older than their present cubs of just under three years. These males seem to enjoy the luxuries of being in the pride. Being slightly bigger than most of the members of the pride, they probably get more to eat at a kill. These males don't seem to spend too long in the pride before they move off.Lions feeding on a buffalo

One night the Styx pride was seen heading towards the large herd of buffalo. On returning to the area the following morning, a pride of lions was found feeding on a large buffalo bull. It was not the Styx pride but the Eyerfield pride and the four dominant males of the area. Tracks indicated that another pride of lions was also in the area. This probably meant that the Styx pride could have killed the buffalo and the Eyerfield pride chased them off.
